A machine that I use often, almost daily is my food processor set. I have a fairly extensive set, but I also use almost everything.
The large bowl including knife is the one that I use the most. Ideal for mashing or crushing vegetables and soups. The accompanying dough hook is very nice for a small amount of dough. When I assemble the bowl, I can put grating discs in it to grate carrots, cabbage, cucumber and other vegetables finely or a little coarser. Or to cut beautiful slices, which are all the same size. As a result, I don't have to buy my vegetables ready-cut, and therefor they can be kept longer and you also have less waste.
Also a blender and a chopper
The second part of the set is the blender, which I use to make delicious juices, smoothies and milkshakes (yes, that is almost a daily task in the summer). Fresh bananas, ice cream and some milk and you have a delicious milkshake. This is the most made version with our family.
In addition, there is a small chopper. Now I have a very easy bowl for small portions with my hand blender, as described here, but I only use it for soft ingredients otherwise the bowl will break. What is nice about this small chopper is that it is also very suitable for somewhat harder materials such as nuts.
A plus is that this set can be washed in the dishwasher. That saves a lot of hand washing. And the food processor has suction cups on the underside, so it stays in place. Everything can be completely dismantled and therefore you need relatively little storage space. I'm really happy with it.
Of course you have many variants. But which one is really advisable?
Are you thinking of buying a food processor, but if you are alone or do not use it every day, then this food processor is a good choice. It is fairly extensive with the added tools, but is also easy to store. This food processor has never let me down (and I use it a lot ;-))
If you want a jack-of-all-trades that is also very powerful, allowing you to process larger quantities, this food processor is a very good option. You can use this to do even more, such as knocking and cutting blocks.
