Perhaps you wondered why I had not blogged for the last several days? I was struck by two anginas in succession. The first I could handle a little, but when the second one arrived I went down (literally spend days in my bed). I have some after effects, but the recovery is in sight!
But first: Fudge. Not everything is as easy to cook. We all have something we can make very good and some things that are oh so difficult. For me that’s fudge. It failed on me often. Too often. I’ve tried everything, different recipes, different approaches but it always went wrong. Until today. I’ve got a new recipe and new sugar thermometer. Perhaps mine didn’t got the right temperature anymore. And the miracle happened … the fudge was successful. Whether it was the blame of the thermometer or the recipe, it’s a start.
