Today’s recipe is a delicious cake with cashew nuts. A cake because that is always and always appropriate. And almost everybody likes it. Previously the children were only fond of simple cakes, without fuss. But nowadays they are also in for a treat. And this topping was okay! But first a gorgeous thing!
A gorgeous thing
And this Wednesday how could it be otherwise: a craft with the Easter theme. And to keep the theme a bit in the atmosphere of this blog I’ve made something with plants. See for yourself:
How do you make it ?
Supplies ( 3 bunnies ):
- 3 hard-boiled eggs;
- potting soil;
- Cress seed;
- 3 sets of eyes;
- Black felt pen with fine point;
- Felt in various colors, but at least in brown and pink;
- White drawing paper and pencil;
- 3 egg holders;
Take the cap of the eggs and eat the filling. Rinse them out, put them in an egg holder and fill for 2/3 with potting soil. Wet the soil, sprinkle some cress seed on it and cover with a thin layer of potting soil. Leave for 5 days, the cress will have emerged.
Draw on the paper two ears, which in size are consistent with the egg. Also sign the inside of the ears. Draw and cut out the brown (outside ear) and pink felt (inside ear). Glue the pink inside of the ear on the brown exterior ear. Repeat this until you have three pairs of ears . Draw a bow (or tie) on the paper and cut that out. Take over on the felt and make sure that you have a total of three bows and / or ties. Draw with the felt pen the nose and whiskers on the egg. Glue the eyes and ears on the egg . Then glue the bow and / or tie on the egg holder. Happy Easter!
