Mixers and blenders are essential in every kitchen. Make sure you don’t get the cheapest mixer but take a closer look. With a bit mixer you will get through years and years of good usage and it would be a shame if you do a bad buy.
A hand mixer allows you to mix hotchpots, whisk whipped cream, but also knead your dough quickly and easily. Equipped with beaters and dough hooks, these devices ensure that making recipes becomes much faster and easier. Make sure you choose a model with sufficient wattage. Not enough power and your mixer is more likely to break when kneading dough, for example, because the engine is running too hot. This mixer is definitely recommended. He has got enough power, a beautiful color (yes the eye wants something too) and the right accessories.
And I also have a very nice Immersion hand blender. Well more a set, because my immersion hand blender comes with two bowls wherein I can cut very small quantities of food. It is precisely those quantities that are just too little for my food processor.
I use the immersion blender to puree soups and sauces. I use both bowls for very fine cutting like cutting an onion and making a herb mixture when cooking Indonesian (called a boemboe in Dutch). Super easy and definitely recommended. This hand immersion blender set is comparable to mine and I can tell you that you will enjoy it for years.
