Piping bag tip 2
bones and skulls
Pour the milk into a saucepan and add the flour.
Mix everything well until you have a smooth batter.
Turn on medium heat and bring the batter to the boil while you keep stirring (because it burns super fast).
Cook for 5 minutes or until the batter is so thick that when you insert a skewer into the batter it will stand upright and won't fall.
Turn off the heat, cover with plastic foil and let cool to room temperature.
In a second bowl, mix the butter, powdered sugar and vanilla extract with a mixer until everything is light and fluffy (about 2 minutes).
Add the batter spoon to spoon to the butter mixture and mix for another 5 minutes.
Mix the colorant through the frosting to the desired intensity and cover the dish with plastic foil.
Place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
Check the frosting thickness. If it is too thin, add some extra powdered sugar. Store in the refrigerator until use.
Put the powdered sugar in a bowl and add the water and lemon juice.
Mix until a smooth paste is formed. When it is still too grainy, add some extra water. If the glaze is too thin, mix some extra powdered sugar through it.
Put the frosting in a piping bag and the glaze in a bowl.
Dip the donuts in the glaze and let dry for 5 minutes.
Fill the middle of the donut with the frosting and draw some blood lines over the glaze.
Press the eye in the middle and sprinkle the sugar decorations over it.
