Pilaf with Ground Beef and Peaches is a variation on this popular rice dish. It’s an easy recipe with lots of delicious flavors, which can be at the table in just 20 minutes. The rice and meat are baked with tasteful spices, making it a bit sweet and spicy, but all well balanced. This is a great recipe when you need a delicious meal on a busy weeknight, and the whole family will love it.
Put the ground beef and chili paste into the wok and fry until the beef is brown and done.
1 pound ground beef, ½ teaspoon chili paste
Add peach juice, salt, pepper, kecap Manis and peach cubes, and give everything a good stir.
2 cup peaches, 4 tablespoons peach syrup, 2 tablespoons kecap manis, ¼ teaspoon salt, ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
Add the cooked white rice and heat everything until warm while you keep stirring.
6 cups white rice
Serve.

1. Ground Beef (minced beef) - finely chopped beef with a meat grinder. But you can also opt for chicken or minced lamb.2. Peaches - Use canned peaches because you’ll use the fruit and the syrup in this pilaf with ground beef.3. Kecap Manis - (an Indonesian Sweet Soy Sauce) is used in this recipe. If you don’t have Kecap Manis at home, but you do have light soy sauce, low sodium soy sauce, or dark soy sauce? Then add two tablespoons of honey and one tablespoon of extra brown sugar to the added soy sauce.4. Tomato paste - To deepen the flavor. But make sure to use it the right way. To give it its delicious rich, and slightly sweet taste, you should bake it for 2 minutes.5. Chili Paste - In the Dutch / Indonesian kitchen, or is used for the spice in this recipe. To make it spicy, you can also use buffalo sauce, adobo sauce, chipotle pepper, or sriracha. Or use ¼ teaspoon chili powder and ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper. Add more chili paste if you like it spicy.6. Storage
Refrigerator - Cool the pilaf with ground beef and cover with plastic foil. This way, you can keep it in the fridge for up to three days.
Freezer - Put the cooled pilau into a freezer bag or box and store it in the freezer for up to two months.
Reheat in a magnetron or a wok on medium heat while stirring.
