Instructions
Preheat the oven to 390 °F (conventional oven) or 350 °F (convection oven) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Place one sheet of puff pastry on your work surface and cut diagonally into a triangle.

Put a slice of cheddar in the width end of the pastry. Place one Frankfurter on the bottom side of the cheese.
8 slices cheddar cheese, 8 Frankfurters
Mix the egg and water in a small bowl.
1 tablespoon egg, 1 tablespoon water
Brush the edges of the puff pastry with the egg wash.
Roll the pastry around the Frankfurter. Place the roll on the prepared baking tray. Brush the outside with more egg wash.
Repeat with the remaining puff pastry, cheddar, and Frankfurters.
Bake for 10 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and the cheese has melted.
Let them cool for a moment, then cut each roll into 3 pieces before serving.
