- Eat them warm or let them cool to room temperature. Enjoy this healthier option with your favorite dipping sauce, like a honey mustard dip.
NOTES
1. Zucchini: Cut the zucchini into thin slices for the zucchini chips (use a sharp knife for the best slices). Even easier is to use a coarse grater or a mandolin slicer. The slices should be about ⅛ inch (¼ cm) thick. By cutting them all the same thickness, they are ready at the same time.
2. Panko breadcrumbs: If you don't have it, you could also use breadcrumbs.
3. Parmesan cheese: You can also use Grana Padano.
4. Oven: If you don't have an Air Fryer, you can make these zucchini chips in the oven. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to a 430 °F (220 °C) convection oven. Spread the zucchini in a single layer on the baking tray (use a second tray if necessary) and bake for 20 minutes. Turn the zucchini off after 10 minutes so that they will grill evenly.
5. Storage
You can't keep zucchini chips for long. Make them fresh when possible. If you want to store them for a few hours, use an airtight container at room temperature.
