NOTES
1. Peaches - Use fresh peaches, skin, and pit removed and sliced into cubes. Or take canned peaches, as I did. Both will do the trick.2. Oven - When using a conventional oven, set the temperature to 350 °F (180 °C). In a convection oven, 320 °F (160 °C) is enough.3. Storage
Make-ahead Refrigerator (unbaked) - Slice the apples in cubes and put them in lemon water for a few minutes, so they won’t discolor. Add the peaches and juice. Cover and store for up to two hours in the fridge. Prepare the crumble topping, and store that separately from the fruit in the refrigerator. Spread the topping just before baking on the apple peach crumble
Freezer (unbaked) - Prepare it, but don’t bake it. Put it in the oven dish, wrap it into two layers of plastic foil, and then in a freezer bag. You can store it for up to 1 month. After that, you can bake it directly from frozen (increase the baking time to 40 minutes and cover the dish for the last 10 minutes with aluminum foil).
Baked - Don’t store baked apple peach crumble. The topping will become soggy, and that’s not very delicious.
4. Nutritional value - The nutritional value is per serving, assuming this serves 4, excluding ice cream.
