NOTES
1. Mango - soft and juicy and wonderfully sweet. Remove the skin and pit and cut them into small cubes. Here you will find a video where I show you how you can do this quickly and easily in two ways.2. White wine - For this Clerico, use a dry white wine, such as Chardonnay (my preference), Sauvignon Blanc, or Pinot Grigio. If you want an alcohol-free sangria, replace the wine with an alcohol-free wine. Those are readily available at the supermarket.3. Strawberries - Use fresh strawberries. Wash them and remove the crown (in this order. If you remove the crown first, the strawberry will absorb the washing water, and they will become watery)4. Tip
Add mint leaves, lime wedges, and lemon for a refreshing accent.
The juicier the fruit is, the more alcohol it absorbs.
5. Storage Do you want to prepare this recipe in advance?
Refrigerator - Make the sangria and let it cool in the refrigerator. You can do this a few hours in advance.
6. The nutritional value is per glass, assuming you serve eight glasses from the pitcher and eat all the fruit. If you omit to eat the fruit (most people do), the values will be much lower.
