NOTES
1. Can I make this without an ice cream maker? Yes. This recipe freezes directly in glasses, so you do not need an ice cream maker.2. How long does the frozen yogurt need to freeze? At least 3 hours. Larger glasses may need a little longer.3. Why use condensed milk? Condensed milk makes the frozen yogurt creamier and adds smooth sweetness.4. When do I add the jam and berries? Just before serving. That keeps the topping fresh and prevents the berries from freezing hard.5. Can I use other berries? Yes. Strawberries, raspberries, red currants, blueberries, or a mix all work well.6. What if the frozen yogurt is too hard? Let the glasses sit at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.7. Storage
Freezer: Store the frozen yogurt without topping in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Cover the glasses well.
Serving: Let it stand briefly at room temperature if it has frozen very firm.
Topping: Add the strawberry jam, berries, and mint only when serving.
Make-ahead: You can make the glasses earlier in the day or 1 day ahead. Finish with the topping just before serving.
