Serve
Add the ice cubes just before serving.
ice cubes
Optional you can add slices of ginger, lemon and mint leaves.
1. Sweetener swap: Replace the sugar with 4 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, stirred in while the water is still hot. Stevia works too if you want a sugar-free version.2. Avoid bitterness: Let the water cool slightly before adding the tea bags, steep no longer than 8 minutes, and lift the bags out without squeezing.3. Make ahead: Brew a concentrated batch and store in the fridge for up to 3 days; dilute with cold water just before serving.4. Caffeine-free option: Swap the green or white tea for a caffeine-free herbal or rooibos tea.5. Storage: Keeps covered in the fridge for up to 3 days. To save fridge space, brew a concentrated batch, store it, and dilute with cold water just before serving — or freeze extra concentrate in an ice cube tray.
