This Kids Halloween drinks non-alcoholic recipe is the mocktail you make for Halloween. It's sweet, refreshing, colorful, and a virgin version. It's great for this party because you can make it in advance and look terrific and scary when served. The kids will love this drink!
Ingredients you need per step are listed below the step in Italic
Instructions
Optional: Glue the eyes on the glass.
Optional: If you don't have store-bought black sugar, mix the sugar with the black food coloring.
2 drops black food coloring
Dip the edge of the glass in water and then in the black sugar.
2 tablespoons black sugar
Mix the juice with the natural green food coloring and pour it into the glass.
½ cup apple juice, 2 drops green food coloring
Pour the strawberry lemonade syrup carefully into the glass so it won't dilute but swirls to the bottom.
2 teaspoons strawberry syrup
NOTES
1. How do you get two layers? - Strawberry syrup is heavier than green apple juice, so it remains well on the bottom. It hardly mixes when you pour apple juice into the glass through the back of a spoon.2. Black sugar rim - By wetting the edge and dipping it in the black sugar, you get a nice rim on the glass. This sugar can be bought ready-made at baking and cooking stores (and online). You can also buy food coloring. Use two drops of food coloring and mix it with the sugar.3. - Sticky eyes - To decorate the glasses, I glued on the glasses. The eyes are for sale at the craft stores.4. Storage You can make the drinks an hour before. 5. The nutritional value shown is per Halloween drinks non-alcoholic
