1cup buckwheat flour

Put flour, buckwheat flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl and stir.
1 ½ cup all-purpose flour, 1 cup buckwheat flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1 tablespoon sugar, ½ teaspoon salt
Add two eggs and mix them with the batter.

While mixing on medium, slowly pour in ⅓th of the milk. Mix until you have a smooth batter without lumps.

Now slowly pour in the remaining milk while you keep mixing.
Now add the melted butter to the batter and mix everything well again.

Heat the poffertjes pan until it is hot.
Grease the cavities of the poffertjes pan with butter with a brush.

Now fill the holes with batter. This is convenient with a squeeze condiment bottle, a soup spoon, or a measuring cup.
Bake the poffertjes until the top is set. Now turn them over.
Fry the small pancakes for another 2 minutes and remove them from the pan.
Serve the poffertjes with cubes of butter and confectioner's sugar.
