NOTES
1. Can I swap the Camembert? Yes. Brie works well too.2. Do I need to toast the pine nuts? It helps. Toasting gives them more flavor and a better crunch.3. How do I get neat pinwheels? Keep the pastry cool and use a sharp knife.4. Can I make these ahead? Yes. Roll and slice them ahead, then bake when needed.5. What is the easiest shortcut? Spread pesto on the pastry instead of adding the basil and pine nuts separately.6. StorageThese are best fresh and warm.
Refrigerator: If you have leftovers, let them cool completely, store them covered in the fridge.
Reheat: Briefly in the oven to crisp the pastry again.
