Making your own quick pizza dough is much easier than you think, and it is also much tastier. I often use this recipe when I feel like making a homemade pizza but don't want to wait too long or knead it. With a few simple ingredients, you can make a perfect dough in no time, which is ready to make your favorite pizzas after rising.

2tablespoonssugar
3tablespoonsolive oil
5cupsall-purpose flour

Instructions
Mix
Mix the yeast with the water in a large bowl.
1 ½ cup water, 5 teaspoons yeast
Now, stir the sugar and olive oil into the yeast mixture.
2 tablespoons sugar, 3 tablespoons olive oil
Add ¼ of the flour while stirring with a wooden spoon.

Sprinkle the salt and the rest of the flour over the dough, stirring until it becomes sticky.

Take a second bowl and brush it with oil. Shake the dough in this bowl and turn it over once.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and put it away in a warm place.
Rise
Let it rise for an hour, or until the dough has doubled in volume.
Sprinkle flour on your work surface and tip the dough onto it. Knead it twice more and make your pizza base.
NOTES
1. Yeast: Are you not sure if the yeast is still working? Mix the yeast with ½ cup of tepid water and the sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes. If bubbles appear on the surface, the yeast is still active.2. Storage
Refrigerator: You can make the dough up to two hours before baking. Grease the bowl with oil and cover with plastic wrap. Remove the bowl from the refrigerator fifteen minutes before rolling.
Freezer: If you have made too much and want to use the dough later, brush plastic wrap with oil and wrap the dough in it. Pack it in a freezer bag. It will keep for up to 3 months. Let it thaw at room temperature.
