NOTES
1. How do you make strawberry syrup at home? Very easy: Boil ½ pound of strawberries with ⅔ cup of water and 1 cup of sugar until a syrup forms. Sieve it, let it cool down, and it's ready.2. Can I use flavored sparkling water? Yes, you can. But choose a flavor that goes well with strawberries. Lemon or berry-flavored water works best.3. How do I make this drink for a crowd? Just double or triple the ingredients. Use a large lemonade dispenser. Add lots of ice and a bit more mint for decoration.4. Variations & Tips
No mint? Basil or lemon balm also tastes nice.
Want a bit more freshness? Add a slice of lime or a little lemon juice.
For grown-ups: Add a splash of vodka or prosecco to turn it into a party drink.
5. Storage
Fridge: Keep the drink in a closed jar or pitcher in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Freezer: Not a good idea. The strawberries turn mushy when frozen and thawed.
