NOTES
1. Chili flakes: This recipe has been adapted for eating with your family. But if you like it spicy, add some extra chili flakes.2. Beef stock:Make it yourself with this beef stock recipe, or use a cube.3. Ground beef: Roll the ground meat into balls for the soup. You can also use half ground beef and half ground pork to make meatballs.4. Variations:
Creamy: Add a dash of cream to get a smooth, creamy soup.
Cheese: It is also nice to grate some grated cheese over the soup in addition to the leek. The cheese melts, and you can spoon it out with the breadstick (delicious).
Croutons: If you don't have time to make breadsticks, cut some bread into cubes, drizzle with olive oil, and season with herbs. Bake until crispy in the pan or oven.
5. StorageBefore storing, cool quickly back to room temperature. You cannot store the leek topping and add it fresh.
Room temperature: You can keep the breadsticks for a day if you pack them airtight.
Refrigerator: Store the soup in an airtight container for two days.
Freezer: Pack the breadsticks in a freezer box or bag and store them for up to a month. Allow to thaw at room temperature. You can freeze the soup in a freezer container, and it will keep for up to 2 months.
Reheat: Heat the soup over medium heat until it is hot. Warm the bread in the oven until it is warm and crispy.
