These breadsticks make a delicious appetizer or lunch for Halloween! Breadsticks in the shape of snakes that look very dangerous.
And although it all seems very difficult, nothing could be further from the truth. You make the snakes from savory pie dough that you buy ready-made and roll up. Or you can use a bread dough.
A point at the bottom (for the tail) and, on the other side, a convex side where you make a notch. Brush with egg and sprinkle with sesame, poppy, or another topping of your choice. Just put it in the oven, and then it can be eaten.

How do you make Tomato Leek Soup
- Add olive oil to the pan and fry the onion for three minutes until translucent.
- Take the thyme and chili flakes and put in the pot, stir-fry for a minute.
- Add the diced tomatoes, passata, and stock, and also add the sugar. Stir well and bring to the boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and add the meatballs to the pan. Let simmer for 15 minutes.
Make Halloween Breadsticks
- Make a roll from a slice of savory card dough. Continue rolling between your palms into a long rope. Push one side into a point. Make a ball on the other side.
- Cut a notch on the convex side with a knife and push a toothpick into it (the tongue will come in later). Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Brush each snake with a beaten egg and sprinkle some sesame seeds on the snakes. Insert two cloves into the dough where the eyes are. Bake for 20 minutes in a preheated oven at 390 °F (200 °C).

- 56 ounce diced tomatoes canned
- 3½ cups sieved tomatoes (also called passata)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 3½ cups beef broth
- ¼ pound ground beef
- 2 ounces leek Finely sliced

- Preheat the oven to 390 °F or 350 °F
- Cover a baking sheet with baking paper.
- Take a slice of savory pie dough and make a roll of it by rolling that slowly between your palms into a long string. Push one side into a point. Make the other side more round.1 pound savory pie dough
- Make a notch of approximately ½ inch (1 cm) on the round side with a sharp knife. Push a toothpick in there.
- Place the snake on the baking paper and repeat for all slices of savory dough.
