Transparency matters to me. This page explains how I work with brands and how you'll always know when a post involves compensation of any kind.
Reviews
Brands regularly send me products or kitchen gadgets to test. I only review items that fit this website, and receiving a product for free never buys a positive review: what you read is my honest opinion, even when I'm less enthusiastic. When a review is based on a product I received for free, I say so in that post.
Advertising
The ads you see on this site are served through my partner Mediavine. I'm paid for displaying these ads, not for anything you buy clicking or ignoring them makes no difference to my recommendations, and I have no influence over which specific ads appear.
Sponsored posts (advertorials)
Some posts are paid collaborations with a partner this is one of the ways I keep this site running. You'll see a clear note near the top of any sponsored post, and on social media I use #ad.
I choose my partners myself, so sponsored content always fits what this website is about.
Affiliate links
Some posts contain Amazon affiliate links, for example to ingredients I use in a recipe. If you click one and make a purchase, I receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Posts containing affiliate links are marked near the top of the post.
