A special branch of sport within photography is food photography. And in addition to that, there is food videography.
As you know, I write, video and photograph for this blog. And I also take food photos within Janssen Photography. My motto: A good food photo invites you, your mouth will water, and it always makes you happy.
Together with my husband, I have a photo studio of more than 2700 ft2 (250 m2) in The Netherlands. It's got a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen contains a stove, two ovens, refrigerator, freezer, and plenty of workspace. This space got plenty of space, so you can work with two people at the same time. There is also a meeting room available.
Due to the presence of this kitchen, the recipes can be freshly prepared. And in addition to daylight photography, we can completely control the light. That way, you're sure of professional photos.
A nice fact because if you have a series of photos, it is essential that the light also radiates unity. Henry, my husband, is a specialist in the use of light and composition. He develops food concepts and ensures that the photo always has the desired look.
And besides food photography, my job is food styling, recipe development, and visual preparation of dishes for photography and film. I provide the right props that match the photography style, etc.
At this moment, we provide cookbook photography, lifestyle photography, catering photography, and photography for websites and social media.
A second branch within food is the so-called tabletop videos. Short film productions of about 1 minute in which you can show a product or the preparation of a recipe.
Stop-motions, how-tos, and high-end videos featuring the dish. Personal backgrounds or a specific style is no problem at all. We can take care of this completely, from recording and styling to video production.
We also do the editing and post-production in-house. So it is possible to provide the photos with your style with us.

Our photo studio is located in the south of the Netherlands. The studio (>2700 ft2) has a well-equipped kitchen, where recipes can be prepared. And we have sufficient and free parking spaces in front of the studio.
