Sweet potato fries in the air fryer
Peel and wash the sweet potatoes. Halve the potatoes lengthwise and cut them into long thin strips of the same thickness.
Place the potatoes in a bowl (or plastic bag) and add cornflour, garlic powder, and chili powder. Toss well so that all fries are covered with a thin layer.
Place the sweet potato wedges in the air fryer's container and bake them at 350 °F (180 °C) for 15 minutes. Toss them well every five minutes.
Extra: Sweet potato fries in the oven
Preheat an oven to 430 °F (220 °C). Line two baking trays with baking paper.
Peel the potatoes and wash them. Halve them lengthwise and cut them into long thin strips of the same thickness.
Place the potatoes in a bowl and add two tablespoons of sunflower oil, cornflour, garlic powder, and chili pepper. Mix everything well.
Spread the sweet potato fries on the baking trays. Make sure they are in one layer, with some space between the fries.
Bake the fries in the oven for 20 minutes.
Chili BBQ sauce
Meanwhile, make the sauce: mix the mayonnaise, barbecue sauce, and chili sauce in a small bowl.
Serving
Taste the fries and add salt or extra pepper to taste.
