Delicious Puff pastry cheese sticks that we snacked while watching on Saturday evening a television show. Or serve this as a savory snack at a birthday party. They probably are all gone in a minute!
Equipment
- A conventional oven is used. When using a convection oven (with air fan) decrease the temperature with 30 °F / 20 °C
Ingredients
- 4 sheets puff pastry, 5 x 5 inch, 12 x 12 cm
- 1 egg, size S
- 75 grams Parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 355 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius).
- Line a baking plate with baking paper.
- Cut the sheets of puff pastry in 5 strips and put them on the baking plate.
- Beat the egg with a fork.
- Brush the strips of puff pastry with the egg.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
- Put the baking plate in the middle of the oven and bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
