Crispy Cheese Sticks with Puff Pastry & Parmesan
These cheese sticks remind me of cozy Saturday nights, watching TV with my family and enjoying a big plate of these warm, flaky treats. They’re also a classic party snack—they disappear within minutes whenever I serve them!
Parmesan gives them that deep, savory flavor, but if you want something different, try Gruyère or Emmental for a slightly nuttier taste. Want even more flavor? Sprinkle them with sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or a pinch of cumin before baking. No matter how you make them, these puff pastry sticks will always be a hit!

Ingredients
- 4 sheets puff pastry, 5 x 5 inch, 12 x 12 cm
- 1 egg, size S
- ¾ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 355 °F.
- Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Cut each puff pastry sheet into 5 strips. Place the strips on the baking tray, leaving some space between them.4 sheets puff pastry
- Beat the egg in a small bowl with a fork. Brush each puff pastry strip with the egg wash.1 egg
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.¾ cup Parmesan cheese
- Bake for 12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Let them cool slightly and serve warm or cold.
