Ingredients
- ¾ cup milk
- 4 tablespoons instant oats
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 apple, peeled, cored and cut into cubes
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon walnuts, chopped finely
- 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions
- Heat the milk in a small pan over medium heat until it starts to boil.¾ cup milk
- Add the oats, lower the heat, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring now and then.4 tablespoons instant oats
- In another pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the apple and cinnamon and cook for 1-2 minutes until soft.1 tablespoon butter, 1 apple, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pour the oatmeal into a bowl and top with the warm apple mix and walnuts.1 tablespoon walnuts
- Drizzle with honey.1 tablespoon honey
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- Swap walnuts for pecans for a different crunch.
- Add a pinch of nutmeg for extra warmth.
- Use maple syrup instead of honey for a richer flavor.
