Top Tip
If you use wooden skewers and grill them on the barbecue, it is helpful to soak them in water for 30 minutes beforehand. This prevents the skewers from burning.

Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, squeezed
- 2 tablespoons Italian herbs
- ¾ pound Beef tenderloin steak, cut into 12 equal pieces
- ½ yellow bell pepper, cut into 4 strips
- ½ red bell pepper, cut into 4 strips
- 1 red onion, quartered
- 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze

Instructions
- Pour the olive oil into a bowl, add the garlic and Italian herbs, and stir well.4 tablespoons olive oil, 2 cloves garlic, 2 tablespoons Italian herbs
- Place the steak pieces in the bowl and cover them with the herb oil. Let this mixture soak for 5 minutes.¾ pound Beef tenderloin steak
- Take a skewer and thread the ingredients: start with a piece of steak, then thread a strip of yellow pepper, add another steak, then thread a slice of red onion, add another piece of steak, and finish with a strip of red pepper.½ yellow bell pepper, ½ red bell pepper, 1 red onion
- Grill the skewers on the barbecue until the steak is cooked to your liking (rare, medium, or well done).
