Preparation
- Mix the apple cubes with lemon juice, cinnamon, and sugar.
- Cut the crusts off the currant bread and roll the bread flat with a rolling pin. Divide 2 tablespoons of apple mix over the bread and roll up.
- Brush the outside with melted butter and roll through the sugar-cinnamon mixture. Place the rolls on a baking sheet.

- ¾ cup sugar
- 2 apples Elstar, Jonagold or Granny Smith
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 6 slices raisin bread without crusts
- ½ stick butter melted

- Preheat the oven to 390 ℉ and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Mix the sugar with the cinnamon.2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, ¾ cup sugar
- Peel the apples, remove the core, and cut into cubes.2 apples
- Mix the apple with lemon juice and half of the sugar-cinnamon mixture.1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Roll the raisin bread flat with a rolling pin.6 slices raisin bread
- Divide 2 tablespoons of apple mix on one side of the bread and roll up.
- Brush the outside of the bread with melted butter and roll in the remaining sugar-cinnamon mixture.½ stick butter
- Place the rolls on the baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
