Strawberries - Use fresh strawberries. Strawberries are best in late spring and summer.
Strawberry syrup - Use homemade or store-bought strawberry syrup. You can use sugarless or with sugar, which one you prefer.
Prosecco - An Italian sparkling white wine. Serve it chilled. It’s a dry wine. You could substitute it with champagne (which is a bit drier) or Cava.

Ingredients

¼ cup strawberry syrup
6 strawberries
3 cups prosecco
4 strawberries for garnish

Instructions

Add one tablespoon strawberry syrup at the bottom of the champagne glass
¼ cup strawberry syrup
Halve the strawberries and put three half strawberries in each glass.
¼ cup strawberry syrup
Pour prosecco in the glass.
3 cups prosecco
Garnish with a strawberry on the rim of the glass

Preparation - In the morning, you can wash the strawberries. Hull and slice them only a few hours before use. Keep the strawberries in an airtight container in the refrigerator until use.

Serve a freshly made Strawberry Prosecco Cocktail. You can’t store it in the refrigerator or the freezer.
