Ingredients
For the marinade
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons gyros spice mix
- 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into small cubes
- 1¼ pound schnitzel, cut into thin strips
For the filling
- tortilla wraps
- 2 red onions, finely chopped
- iceberg lettuce, finely sliced
- cherry tomatoes, cut in half
- feta cheese, crumbled
For garnish
- fresh mint leaves, finely chopped

Instructions
Prepare Gyros
- Put the olive oil, lemon juice, gyros spices, garlic, and red bell pepper in a bowl.4 tablespoons olive oil, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 3 tablespoons gyros spice mix, 4 cloves garlic, 1 red bell pepper
- Add the meat. Mix well so everything is covered.1¼ pound schnitzel
- Heat a little oil or butter in a frying pan.
- Add the meat and cook on medium heat until brown. Add the red onions and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, until the meat is done, and the onions are soft.
Build the wraps
- Place the wraps on plates. Add some lettuce and cherry tomatoes. Spoon the warm meat on top.2 red onions, iceberg lettuce, cherry tomatoes, tortilla wraps
- Sprinkle with crumbled feta and chopped mint.feta cheese, fresh mint leaves
Notes
- Fridge: Keep leftovers in a sealed container. They stay good for up to 3 days.
- Freezer: Let the meat cool first. Then freeze it in a container. It will last up to 3 months. Defrost in the fridge and heat before serving.
