Making your own lemon and mint iced tea is a great way to prepare a refreshing and healthy drink. This iced tea is perfect for hot summer days or when you fancy something cool and refreshing. The combination of lemon, orange, mint, and a hint of cinnamon provides a refreshing taste. It's a simple recipe you can make in just a few minutes and only need to cool.
Minty Lemon Iced Tea
I like to make iced tea myself. It's much friendlier to your budget and can also be prepared entirely to your own taste. You can see that on the blog, where there is already a delicious rhubarb iced tea, an orange iced tea, and a rose lime iced tea. The only disadvantage to iced tea recipes is that they need to cool for 2 hours before they are properly cold. And then you'll have a delicious drink.
With this iced tea, we use fresh fruit juices from lemons and oranges for a fresh taste. By mixing the tea with honey, cinnamon, and sugar, you get a perfect balance between spicy and sweet. The mint leaves give the iced tea a fresh taste that is so nice in the summer.
So, do you fancy a thirst-quenching, fresh drink? This iced tea with lemon and mint will make a big impression!

Notes
- Refrigerator: Cover and store the iced tea in the refrigerator for up to three days. It is best to store it airtight so that it does not absorb odors from the other ingredients.
- Freezer: You can quickly freeze iced tea in a closed box without garnish. If you have already added garnish, strain it out beforehand. This way, the blood orange iced tea will last up to 2 months. Ensure you leave enough space (about ½ inch / 1 cm) in the box, as the iced tea will expand as it freezes. Let the iced tea thaw in the refrigerator.
