- White tea - White tea with a hint of rose flavor. If you don't have it, replace it with white tea and add one teaspoon of rose water.
- Raspberries - Sweet, soft, and wonderfully juicy. Do not wash them; at most, rub them clean with a damp piece of paper. Remove any leaves or stems by hand.
- Lime - Juice and zest. Gives a delicious fresh taste to the iced tea.
- Sugar - For sweetening the tea.
How to prepare Raspberry Rose Iced Tea
You can find a printable recipe with a detailed description at the bottom of this blog.
- Bring the water to a boil and turn off the heat. Place the tea bags in the water and let them steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove the bags, do not squeeze them, and add the sugar. Stir until dissolved.
- Now also add the lime juice and grater to the tea. Place in the fridge to get cold.
- Put in a glass jug and add ice cubes. Top with fresh raspberries and rose petals. Let it season for another hour and serve.
Tips, Substitutions, and Variations
- Replace the raspberries with strawberries or berries.
- Add two teaspoons of rose water to the iced tea for a more intense rose flavor.
- Turn off the heat before you brew the tea. Even better is to let the water cool down to 185 °F (85 °C). That way, you get fewer problems with tannins, which cause the bitter taste.
- A second tip against the bitter taste is removing the tea bags from the water but not squeezing them.
- Do you like less sweet iced tea? Add four tablespoons of sugar and taste before adding the rest.
- Do you want an extra fresh taste? Add some sprigs of mint to the iced tea (and it also looks beautiful).

- Do not wash them; at most, rub them clean with a damp piece of paper. Remove any leaves or stems by hand.

- Turn off the heat before you brew the tea. Even better is to let the water cool down to 185 °F (85 °C). That way, you get fewer problems with tannins, which cause the bitter taste.
- A second tip against the bitter taste is removing the tea bags from the water but not squeezing them.
- Refrigerator - Keep the iced tea covered in the fridge for up to 5 days. It is even better to store it airtight, so it does not take over odors from the other ingredients in the refrigerator.
- Freezer - You can freeze iced tea in a sealed box without garnish. If you have already added garnish, strain it out beforehand. This way, the rose lime iced tea will stay suitable for up to 2 months. Leave enough space (about ½ inch, 1 cm) in the box, as the iced tea will expand when it freezes. Then, let the iced tea thaw in the refrigerator.
