When it's warm outside, I love sitting in the sun with a cold drink. And this caramel Frappuccino, a Starbucks copycat, is my go-to recipe. It's cool, lightly sweet, and creamy. A perfect treat with whipped cream on top and a drizzle of salty caramel. It's so good, you might want to make it every day.
How to Make a Caramel Frappuccino at Home (Better than Starbucks!)
The first time I tried this at Starbucks, I knew I wanted to make it at home too. It's really easy. You mix caramel syrup, coffee, milk, and ice in a blender. Then top it with whipped cream and buttery caramel sauce. It's smooth, refreshing, and that caramel drizzle gives it something special. A drink and dessert in one!
Tips for This Frappuccino Recipe
- Use crushed ice if you can. If not, let regular ice cubes sit for a minute, so your blender can crush them more easily.
- Strong coffee works best. Espresso or instant coffee is great.
- For a lighter drink, use low-fat milk or a plant-based milk like soy.
- You can skip the sugar and only use caramel syrup for sweetness.
- Whip the cream with a bit of sugar for a sweet topping.
- You can use store-bought caramel sauce or make your own.
