Ingredients
Marinade
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
- 2 tablespoons fresh coriander finely chopped
- 1 red chili peppers cut into thin slices
- 2 tablespoons Japanese soy sauce or Dark soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Mirin wine
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
Spicy beef
- ½ pound Beef tenderloin steak
- 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
- 1 shallot chopped
- ¼ red chili pepper finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Japanese soy sauce
- 1 ½ teaspoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil

Instructions
- Combine the marinade ingredients in a large bowl and stir until the sugar is well dissolved.2 cloves garlic, 2 tablespoons fresh coriander, 1 red chili peppers, 2 tablespoons Japanese soy sauce, 2 tablespoons Mirin wine, 2 teaspoons sugar, 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- Cut the steak into wedges and marinate in the marinade for 30 minutes.½ pound Beef tenderloin steak
- Remove the steak from the marinade and strain the marinade. Set aside.
- Also, stir together the ingredients for the sauce.2 tablespoons Japanese soy sauce, 1 ½ teaspoons sugar, 1 tablespoon lime juice, 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- Heat the oil in a large wok or frying pan.1 tablespoon sunflower oil
- Stir-fry the shallot and red pepper for 2 minutes.1 shallot, ¼ red chili pepper
- Add the sesame oil and the meat and fry until the meat is nicely browned.2 teaspoons sesame oil
- Add the sauce and the strained marinade and heat for about 1 minute.
- Spoon the steak onto a plate and serve as a snack or with rice. Tasty!
Notes
Fry the steak so that it is no longer pink. Cool quickly.
- Refrigerator: covered for up to 2 days.
- Freezer: Freeze in a freezer container or bag for up to 1 month.
