Looking for an easy dish that's ready quickly and tastes delicious? This one-pot pasta with tomato and basil is perfect for busy days. Everything goes in one pan, and your meal is on the table in 20 minutes. Fewer dishes to wash, and still a dish that everyone will enjoy!
What do you need?
In the recipe card below, you will find the full list of ingredients, but here are some handy tips:

- Linguine: This long pasta absorbs the sauce perfectly.
- Cherry tomatoes: For a sweet, fresh taste.
- Garlic and onion: Essential for that delicious, full flavor.
- Basil: Gives the dish a delicious, spicy aroma.
- Parmesan cheese: For a salty, creamy finishing touch.
Preparation in 4 Simple Steps

- Step 1: Add the linguine and cherry tomatoes to a casserole pan with straight sides.

- Step 2: Add finely chopped onion and garlic.

- Step 3: Fill the pan with red pepper flakes, basil, olive oil, salt, pepper, and water.

- Step 4: Place the pan on high heat and bring to the boil. Let it cook for 9 minutes, stirring regularly so that the pasta cooks evenly. Once the water has almost completely evaporated, taste and add extra salt and pepper to taste.
Serve: Divide the pasta among plates, garnish with fresh basil, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
What to Serve With It?
- Salad: A fresh arugula salad with pistachios and a light dressing.
- Bread: Pieces of ciabatta with rosemary and garlic.
- Drink: A glass of fresh white wine, such as Pinot Grigio, or a jug of water with lemon and grapes.
