What do you need for Homemade Kebab Pizza?
You require the following ingredients to prepare this Doner Kebab Pizza with Garlic Sauce. You can find the correct amounts in the recipe card at the bottom of the blog:
- Pizza Dough: This is my favorite pizza dough recipe. But you can also get the dough ready-made in the refrigerator compartment in the freezer.
- Pizza sauce: My pizza sauce recipe is super easy to make with a lot of taste.
- Chicken Doner: You can make chicken Doner yourself very quickly. Use ¼ pound sliced chicken thigh fillet with two teaspoons shawarma spice mix for the marinade and mix with two tablespoons olive oil. Let the chicken marinate in this for at least 3 hours.
- Mozzarella: Mozzarella is a cheese that melts wonderfully.
- Iceberg lettuce: crispy and fresh lettuce. A great combination with spicy chicken.
- Garlic sauce: I use this garlic sauce recipe to make it myself. The tastiest. But of course, you can also buy it ready-made.

- Remove the chicken from the marinade and fry in the skillet. That way, he is definitely well-cooked.

- Divide the chicken and mozzarella over the pizza sauce. Bake the pizza in a preheated oven at 390 °F (ca. 199 °C) for 20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and divide finely chopped strips of iceberg lettuce and the garlic sauce over the pizza.
Cut into pizza slices and serve!
Tips, Substitutions, and Variations
- Delicious: Heat 4 tablespoons of olive oil until hot, turn off the heat, and add two cut garlic cloves. Sieve the olive oil and brush the 1 cm outer edge of the pizza with the garlic oil (Really a super tip for every pizza!)
- Twist: Add some sun-dried tomatoes, slices of jalapeño peppers (for extra spice), or Parmesan cheese.
