Wednesday is always a busy day. I work half a day and then the kids come home from school. We have lunch on which the kids tell what happened today and a lot needs to be said. I never become bored. Then their friends come to play (or they go to some one else) and it is often very busy.
I try to let the children play outside as much as possible. Especially in the winter some extra sunlight is good for them. But today I had to call them inside very quickly. They were just inside and it began to hail very hard. I put on the tv, choose a funny movie (which on occasion is very fun to do) and made some popcorn from scratch. That way we had our own home cinema. The kids loved it!

This salmon cream cheese spirals are very easy to make and very tasty. They are nice to serve at a party or cocktail party. The salmon gets extra flavor for the herbs in the cream cheese which makes it delicious creamy.
It is a recipe that is ready in no time and that is very nice to serve on a (cocktail) party. Just make sure that you keep it well covered under foil and stored in the refrigerator until use.

Salmon cream cheese spirals
- 200 grams cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons crème fraîche
- 2 teaspoons chives
- 200 grams smoked salmon thinly sliced
- Mix the cream cheese with the creme fraiche until well blended.
- Cut the chives finely and stir that into the cream cheese mixture.
- Place the salmon in front of you and smear the cream cheese on one side.
- Roll the salmon tightly and wrap in plastic foil.
- Put at least 15 minutes in the refrigerator so that it can stiffen.
- Cuts with a sharp knife slices of the roll.
