What do you need for Orange Beer Sorbet?
To prepare this Beer Sorbet, you require the following ingredients. You can find the correct amounts in the recipe card at the bottom of the blog:

- Beer: This recipe uses Radler, a wonderfully refreshing beer with a low alcohol content (2%). You can even use alcohol-free.
- Orange: This delicious fresh fruit gives a citrusy orange flavor to this recipe, which is wonderfully fresh. Use freshly squeezed orange juice for the best taste. You can also use ready-made orange juice if you don't have that.
How to prepare Orange Beer Ice Cream
You can find a printable recipe with a detailed description at the bottom of this blog.

Mix the orange juice with the beer and pour it into a freezer container. Stay at least ¼ inch (½ cm) from the edge (the liquid expands when the ice cream freezes). Close with a lid.

Put in the freezer and let the ice cream freeze. Remove the ice cream from the freezer every thirty minutes and stir with a fork until completely frozen. This way, you get beautiful ice crystals.
Scoop the ice cream into a lovely coupe (or beer glass) and garnish with fresh fruit, such as strawberries, forest fruits, or orange segments.
Top Tip
- Beer: Use different types of beer, and see which beer you like. A dark beer gives an entirely different taste than a blond beer.
- Beer 2: You can also vary the amount of beer you use. Do you want a strong beer flavor or a subtle hint?
- Orange: Play with fruits. Red fruit or peach are also good flavor combinations with orange juice.
- Storage: Freeze the ice cream in a low container instead of a high container, then it will remain softer. Put plastic wrap over the ice cream when it's frozen for better storage.
