An elegant alternative is the alcohol-free spoom Sgroppino. A twist on the classic sgroppino, known for its refreshing sparkle. Still with fresh sorbet ice cream and sparkling bubbles, but without alcohol. This will be fun during the holidays!
Sgroppino Recipe without Alcohol
I love serving a spoom at a dinner party. A refreshing drink that neutralizes the flavors of the different courses. Creamy because of the ice cream and a bubble from, for example, Prosecco or Champagne. I already have several spooms on my blog. Think of a Christmas Scroppino with lime or a pomegranate yogurt ice cream spoom with Prosecco.
The secret of the spoom lies in the perfect balance of ingredients and bringing those flavors together.
Sgroppino Mocktail
Blending the sorbet ice cream with the 7 Up gives you a creamy sparkling drink. A silky smooth blend of flavors. To the Sgroppino, I add some refreshingly crunchy pomegranate seeds. The chocolate shaves provide a subtle sweetness that is delicious with the lemon.
To give it a festive touch, I added a sprig of red berries and a mint leaf for a nice contrasting effect. A drink that is not only tasty but also looks beautiful.
This is my new favorite that I will be sharing with my family this holiday season. Cheers to an elegant drink without alcohol.
