This honey ice cream isn't difficult to make. You even don't need an ice cream machine, yet it's airy. Through the ice cream you gut chunks of dark chocolate. Very thin, because when using larger lumps of frozen chocolate you can break your teeth. And I certainly don't want that for you to happen.
Don't eat ice cream only in summer. We eat it all year round. Yet in every season I eat certain flavors. Like in winter I just love a creamy chocolate ice cream, delicious. In summer I'm in love with frozen yogurt with red fruit , and in fall Greek yogurt ice cream with walnuts and honey (really a seasonal ice cream). And for spring I choose a strawberry soda ice cream. You see ice cream is never dull.
And you can serve it as a ball in a small dish or get creative and add some rolled honey tuiles. Or put it on a stick like these watermelon grape popsicles, therefor making it a snack you can always eat (at least I can). Put it in between two cookies (like this Ice cream with chocolate and caramel) or make a ice slush (like the watermelon slush). Don't they all sound terrific?
As for today I made this honey ice cream with dark chocolate. And that's an ice cream you can eat any season. It's terrific in summer, but als in winter. There's a hint of honey and the chocolate chips give it a nice bite. A delicious ice cream for any season. And bit doesn't contain raw eggs.
It's a good taste!
