Fresh Mango Smoothie with Mint, Cinnamon and Oatmeal
Why should you try this smoothie? It is creamy, slightly sweet, rich in fiber, and has a tropical touch due to the addition of coconut milk. It's filling due to the oatmeal, is kid-friendly, and is always a hit on busy mornings. And psst… you don't need any fancy ingredients. Just some mango, dates, and coconut milk, and you're done. I make it regularly, especially on warm days. Serve it with a golden straw or a sprig of mint, and you have an instant holiday feeling in a glass.
This smoothie was created on one of those busy mornings when I needed "something nutritious quickly." No time for elaborate cooking, but I still wanted something tasty that was filling. Mango and coconut are a golden combination, and the dates provide that natural sweetness without added sugars. The oatmeal makes it filling, and mint gives it a fresh twist. And the best part is that even my kids like it!
