A recipe for a summer salad in a jar with fresh strawberries, sweet dried tomatoes, lettuce, and honey mustard dressing. A delicious vegetarian salad for your picnic. Everyone gets their own jar full of goodness.
The creamy, slightly spicy, and sweet mustard dressing is a delicious combination with the fresh strawberries. By combining with a mixed salad, you get a crunchy bite. The sun-dried tomatoes make the salad complete.
This vegetarian/vegan salad is built in layers in the jar. At the picnic, you give each person his or her jar and let them toss the salad just before eating so it stays fresh. This way you get a wonderfully flavorful salad.
