An Italian-style burger that sounds like a dream, right? Imagine a juicy grilled beef burger served on a crispy bun with creamy mozzarella, ripe tomato, and fresh basil. This flavor combo is classically Italian and always a hit.
And the best part? This burger is super simple to make. Whether you grill it on the BBQ or in a grill pan, it turns out perfectly every time.

Juicy Beef Caprese Burger With Tomato and Mozzarella
Caprese is the well-known trio of tomato, mozzarella, and basil, usually seen in a fresh salad. I took those same delicious flavors and turned them into a burger. A toasted bun, a juicy burger, fresh toppings, and a creamy pesto mayo turn this into a real showstopper.
Perfect for a summer BBQ with friends, a cozy lunch, or any time you want something a bit special without spending hours in the kitchen.
Tips for the Perfect Italian Burger Recipe With Mozzarella and Basil:
- Take the burgers out of the fridge in time so they cook evenly.
- Press a small dent in the center of each patty to prevent it from puffing up.
- Make sure your grill pan or BBQ is hot to get a nice sear.
