Make the holidays even more fun with Mini Christmas Pizzas as a starter or main course for the kids! These mini pizzas look festive and are easy to make with ingredients you already have at home. And an excellent addition to their own Christmas menu. So get started together and enjoy the Christmas days!

Mini Christmas Pizzas
Instead of the smoked chicken starter with avocado, my kids eat pizzas for Christmas. Decorated with chives, cheese, and ham. Very festive. I make the pizzas in advance and freeze them. This way, I only have to put them in the oven for Christmas. Convenience serves people.
These are, of course, the perfect snacks to get the kids involved in making their own Christmas dinner. With the mini-Christmas pizzas, this meal will be on the table in no time.
Another advantage is that these mini Christmas pizzas are budget-friendly. Especially if you make the pizza dough and tomato pizza sauce yourself. So you see that a Christmas menu can be affordable.

What do you need for Christmas Star Pizzas?
To prepare these Mini Christmas Pizzas, you require the following ingredients. You can find the correct amounts in the recipe card at the bottom of the blog:

- Pizza Dough - This recipe uses pre-made pizza dough from the supermarket's refrigerator. Because Christmas is already busy enough, you can easily make pizza dough yourself if you have enough time. This is the pizza dough recipe I always use.
- Pizza sauce - You can buy pizza sauce at the supermarket or make it yourself quickly and easily with this delicious pizza tomato sauce recipe.
- Grated cheese - Use Mozzarella cheese or Gouda cheese for the mini pizzas, or mix the two. The cheese melts well and gives a delicious taste to the pizzas.
- Ham - Ham is often used as a topping on a pizza, and you can cut up slices of ham from the deli section.
- Chives - Add a bit of spice and color to the pizzas.
How to prepare Christmas Pizza Cooking with Kids
You can find a printable recipe with a step-by-step description at the bottom of this blog.

- Roll out the dough (about 0.1 inches (2.54 mm)) and cut out shapes with a cookie cutter.
- Place it on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake the pizzas in a preheated oven at 430 °F (ca. 221 °C) for eight minutes.
- Brush the top of the pizza bases with pizza sauce.
- Sprinkle with the ham and grated cheese. Bake in the oven for another 8 minutes.
This is part of the Children's Christmas menu that starts with a delicious amuse-bouche with ham and cranberries, the pizzas as a starter, broth with cheese stars as the main course, and a beautiful and delicious Christmas dessert of strawberries for the kids.
Tips and Substitutions
- Toppings - With pizzas, you can vary the type of toppings. Also, consider salami, bacon bits, sun-dried tomatoes, bell pepper cubes, and corn kernels.
- Italian herbs - They are a good substitute for chives. Sprinkle it on the pizzas before baking.
